How does location verification work?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Location verification allows you to confirm that a worker is at the job site during an active shift.

It works as follows:

  1. The request is sent manually — the employer taps “Request Location” in the worker’s profile or project screen.

  2. The worker receives a push notification and an on-screen request to confirm their location.

  3. After the worker confirms, the app captures the coordinates and the time of the response.

  4. The data appears in the current report and becomes available for instant viewing.

Important:

  • a request can be sent only when the worker’s timer is running;

  • the location is not tracked continuously — it is transmitted only at the moment of confirmation;

  • if the worker does not respond, this is also recorded as a separate event.
